The Dakotas are a great band live and there latest album Strong is enjoyable from start to finish. The thing I love about their album is, The Dakotas are not afraid to improvise on a few of the old classics, for example, they have turned The Searchers *Sweets For My Sweets *number one hit into a reggae version which sounds great!! The Dakotas have recorded their original hits’ which (originally featured Billy J Kramer’ on vocals) the toe tapping *Bad To Me,* *Little Children,*and their Lennon and McCartney classic *Do You Want to Know a Secret* sound great. (To list a few of the song’s featured on this CD). If you enjoy the sound of the 60’s performed by one of the classic bands from the 60’s The Dakotas, then why not visit Mike at Sleepy Joe’s web site on how to purchase your very own copy of Strong.
