THE ROOKLES DEBUT LP "OPEN SPACE" TO BE RELEASED June 19th, 2015!
- "Son, who would you like to be when you grow up?" - four different moms asked their four different young sons one day.
- "I WILL be a musician, mom!" - four different boys answered.
This was at the beginning of the 90's as four different moms smiled as they heard their typical youngsters dreams.
Who wouldn't want to become a pilot, an astronaut, a fireman, a famous scientist or even a superhero? Not these four boys! As years went by, life led them to their original dream, with them following their own dream...
It's 2015, a year in which The Rookles release their debut album - "Open Space". On this round piece of plastic you can find 14 songs, 45 minutes of music, but for the four of us these 14 songs mean a lot more:
• Tears when we wouldn't believe we could make it, but thanks to our friendship we always kept our belief.
• A bond that helped us stay friends since our childhood.
• Years of making music, and hours in our rehearsal studio.
• Backache from carrying our equipment everywhere.
• Quarrels and arguments about every note, every chorus, every sound, every lyrics, every photograph, every title.
• Laughter during every tour and roadtrip.
• Laughs and quarrels with technical teams on stage.
• Faith in childhood dreams becoming a way of life.
• Unique recording sessions with some great people, with hundreds of hours that created something that we can call our first album.
• Hours of the total joy on stage, when we could hear our own songs being sung by the audiences, people that paid for a ticket to see us, people that asked for our autographs, photos and to talk with us.
• Photo sessions when we had to fight with minus zero temperatures, fear of heights and other obstacles but it was always the end result that counted.
• Bonfires, parties, going out in the city, always full of adventures.
• Coming back from a night out, when we all helped one another stand up!
• Radio gigs, tv appearances, press articles, interviews.
• All the money that we've paid had to buy new instrument, strings, cases, driving to the concerts, new suits and shoes, meaning that we had to make so many sacrifices.

It all means that we were, are and will be together during the hardest and the most beautiful moments of our lives. And one of them is right now. "Open Space", our first real debut album. In stores June 19th.
I'll Follow You Girl.
