These Q & A with Tracie Hunter was featured in our Ian Hunter Tour Special...

Favourite Venue:Hmmm….I didn’t get to all of the shows this time but The Astoria has always been a favourite of mine, beautiful building, and great sound….always a great atmosphere.
Favourite Show:For me obviously the Astoria but Barcelona was pure magic from the Ian Hunter band.
Best song of the whole tour:I gotta say “The Truth The Whole Truth, ‘Nuthin But The Truth’.
Highlight Of The Tour: There were many highlights, the sound check at the Astoria was pretty speacil….just watching the greats up there doing what they do best….sent a wee shiver. I wonder if anyone will mention Janet Jackson on this question? (bra on thankfully).
Most embarrassing Moment: Nothing really embarrassing thank god…though my dignity was in doubt as I negotiated the slippery ramp at the Astoria with my stiletto thigh boots on….knew I should have worn my trainers…
Who was the best audience for you: From the Ian Hunter bands perspective the crowd in the Barcelona were bloody rocking, dad’s audiences are all great but the energy coming off the crowd that night was electric.
Describe Ian Hunter's Band: Well obviously I’m not on the band bit if I was I’d probably say….It’s a beautiful thing!! They have a lot of fun and are such a talented great bunch of chaps and they all really mean it….If you get my drift, very respectful of the song and the artist.
