I grew up listening to country music, not rock ‘n’ roll so artist such as Hank Williams and Hank Snow inspired me.
Who started the rock ‘n’ roll revolution for you:
The rock ‘n’ roll revloution started for me in the late 40’s with Big Mama Thornton, LaVerne Baker, Clyde McPhatter, Bessie Smith, etc.
What did the 60’s and 70’s mean to you
Not a thing - it just meant work!
Who was the best live band you saw back then:
The Beatles (and for their harmonies The Hollies)
Who was your music idol:
A lot of the top-male vocalist of the 50’s such as Gordon MacRea, Tony Bennett, Sinatra, Mario Lanza, Vic Damone, and thingy Haymes. These days I relax listening to Blues music.

All of them, but especially those produced by Jack Good.

No. UK number ones……but I came close a good few times.
